SEMINARIANS OF ZANZIBAR DIOCESE

We pray for our seminarians in their formation as they prepare for the service of the Church. They have to realize that they are called first to love Jesus as a friend. Pope Francis exhorts that, "Jesus wants to be a friend to every young person".(Cfr. Christus Vivit n.250). Peter whom Jesus prayed for, thereafter he received the mission to take care of the flock just after confession of Jesu's love. This is the love of a friendship whereby all seminarians and the ordained ministers in a special way are called to experience in encountering Jesus the High Priest.

We pray for our seminarians in the seminaries and in the formation houses to gether with their formators. We have Seminarians in different Major and Senior seminaries for Philosophical and Theological Studies with human formation. St. Chalres Lwanga Segerea Senior Seminary,(Dar Es Salaam), St. Thomas Aquinas (Nairobi), Lumen Christi (Maji ya chai-Arusha) and Spiritan Missionary Seminary-Njiro (Arusha).

with the grace of God, His excellence, Augustine N Shao C.S.Sp, Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Zanzibar will ordain Frt. Dennis Msechu to deaconate on 8th Jan.2023.

Our Seminarian has completed his theological studies at St Thomas Aquinas (Nairobi) this year 2022.
